About Us

Excellence in Learning

According to the 2024 policy to elevate English standards in higher education institutions, universities are encouraged to consider implementing supplementary activities, creating both in-class and out-of-class environments that promote the use of English. Additionally, institutions are advised to provide accessible learning resources, which may include documents or online English learning programs.

To provide opportunities and motivation for students to develop their English skills independently, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which has received this directive from the university, has planned the development of an ‘Online English Learning Program.’ This program offers two courses: (1) English for Communication equivalent to CEFR B2, and (2) English for Communication equivalent to CEFR C1, intended for undergraduate and graduate students, respectively. The program serves as an online course for students who do not pass the PSRU English Test at the CEFR B2 or C1 levels. It aims to enable students to engage in self-directed learning through the program, with each course lasting at least 15 hours (including content, exercises, and assessments), equivalent to one academic credit (theory). The courses will be integrated into the university’s PSRU Life Long Learning platform.
